Zephyros Digital Solutions is committed to achieving Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.
Zephyros Digital Solutions is a newly established digital consultancy. As a new business, we do not yet have a complete historical emissions baseline covering a full reporting year. We will establish our baseline using our first complete reporting period and use this to measure and report progress in subsequent Carbon Reduction Plans.
Our operations are predominantly digital and our principal sources of emissions are expected to include electricity associated with IT equipment and home/remote working, cloud and other technology services, purchased equipment and services, and business travel.
Carbon reduction measures
We will seek to reduce emissions through measures including:
- remote collaboration where appropriate to avoid unnecessary travel;
- use of public transport rather than higher-emission alternatives for business travel where reasonably practicable;
- extending the useful life of IT equipment and ensuring responsible reuse or recycling;
- selecting energy-efficient equipment when purchasing or replacing hardware;
- avoiding unnecessary consumption of computing and cloud resources;
- considering the environmental performance of significant suppliers and technology providers where appropriate; and
- measuring our emissions and reviewing opportunities for further reductions as the company develops.
We will review our Carbon Reduction Plan at least annually and monitor progress against our emissions baseline once established.
